Boro Hotel Wedding in Long Island City | Brooklyn Wedding Photographer
Lu and Tony's intimate wedding at the Boro Hotel in Long Island City was one for the books. Their wedding was just perfect, to be honest. They had an intimate, romantic wedding where there was more of an emphasis on their guests than themselves.
I had originally met L + T when we did their engagement session on the Brooklyn Bridge a few months prior. We had such a fun time and you could feel their love for each other. I knew their wedding day was going to be no different. The day was filled with tiny touches of love from the couple, it was simple and elegant. The florals were gorgeous and added wonderful juxtaposition to the rustic feel of the Boro Hotel and their metal piping modern arch. We started out in one of the hotel rooms to grab her prep then moved to the roof for the First Look. It was basically what dreams are made out of. The weather was perfect, the breeze was slight, and his nerves while waiting to see her you could feel in the air. As I have said before, if you are unsure of a First Look, I say do it. The emotions you get during just can't be matched. The ceremony was so unique, they had their guests marry them! The wedding party held up signs for the guests to repeat all together, and then they were married. L + T even hand wrote a note for every single guest expressing their gratitude for them being a part of their day that they handed out before the ceremony. The cocktail hour was filled with hand made pizzas and delicious hors d'oeuvres, laughs, and more love. Since it was an intimate wedding the guest number was not high so everyone had a chance to talk and mingle with each other. Afterwards, they ended the night having their reception and dinner at China Blue in TriBeca. It was a dream, as you can see for yourself, by me possibly posting too many photos. But really, I can't help it. Just look at how much they love each other. <3
